Baggy Maroons

We have had an outstanding start to the season with no less than five (5) baggy maroons being handed out already.  Players earn a Baggy Maroon by scoring 50 or more runs in a single innings or taking 5 wickets in a single innings.

Matthew Carroll & Riley Gillespie – Under 13’s.  Matthew and Riley have been playing at the Club since they were 5 years old, starting in what was then our minis program.   On Saturday 11 November, Matthew made 58 runs from 74 balls and Riley made 51 runs from 68 balls against Whitford’s Blue at Chichester Park.  The team were in trouble at 8 for 80 but both boys managed to retire twice and helped the team to a total of 8 for 260.

Pink Stumps is nearly here!!

Its only just a few days left now until our Pink Stumps Fundraiser at Kingsley Woodvale Junior Cricket Club this Friday 17th February and we would like to say a huge thanks to all the local businesses who have supported us.

On Friday 26th February KWJCC will be turning pink for the McGrath Foundation. We invite members from the club and friends and family from the local community to come and join in with this fun family event.

KWJCC and Lansdale Merge

We are so proud to announce that we have merged with Landsdale to create a combined U17’s team. The boys played their first game together this weekend and finished with, what was to be a real nail bitter, a win.

Junior Umpiring Level 1 Training for 2015/16

The North West Metro Cricket Association’s junior umpiring program is on again this season. Last year we had over 25 kids umpiring on a regular basis.
